Graphic Quilling. This type of quilling different from the familiar fact that the contour Quilling no complex elements, and drawings or items are created by circuits that are "drawn" strips of colored paper. you get an excellent picture of the interior.
Below is a list of tools and materials that I used:
- Paper quilling (7 mm) in three colors: black, brown, dark green, pink, lilac;
- A deep picture frame;
- Awl for quilling;
- PVA glue;
- Ordinary scissors;
- Pencil, ruler;
- Tweezers for quilling.
To create a path for our future tree, you need to draw and cut out the stencil. I drew a tree, inscribed on a path in a circle. That is, first draw a circle, then draw an arbitrary but, preferably, symmetrical tree, then cut along the contour.
Here's what happened.
Applies the contour to the base substrate, which is "live" the future composition. This can be a thick paper or cardboard. Decide for yourself.
You can cut around the outline with a pencil, but only very slightly, or just pencil mark reference points (instead of continuous contour lines).Now series, strip for strip, glue the paper. The secret is to start with the external borders.
When the external borders are marked, you can begin to fill the internal space of the tree. Each strip of glue so: we coat with glue the edge, giving a pre-strip the required shape or bend. When overlaying strips on the base, it is desirable to use a pair of tweezers: it's more convenient and cleaner.
The length of each cut strip of paper is measured by eye. For tree trunk used paper three dark colors: black, brown and green.
The strips are laid out as close as possible to a friend, to fill the entire interior.
When the trunk is ready, add the branch. The colors alternate.
Now we proceed to the colors. In this case, it used only one base open form of quilling. The open form of the element means that the element is not necessary to attach with glue. The tips of the paper just curled towards each other. In this twisted helix across may be of different sizes.
Such elements must be a sufficient number - about 100 members. When cells are ready, we begin to fill in the empty space. All items are fixed on the PVA glue. Clay needed a little differently cardboard (base) will begin to get wet and deformed.
