Cutting a glass bottle is easier than one may realize. The first step you need to do is to soak a piece of yarn or string in nail polish remover. Once the yarn or string has been thoroughly soaked, tie it around the bottle where you want to cut it.
Light the piece of yarn or string with a lighter and allow it to burn all the way around the entire bottle for about 10 to 15 seconds. Then immediately dip the hot bottle with the yarn or string attached into cold water. The glass will remove easily and you will have the perfect cut every single time. Simply tap the glass with a hard object gently and it will break apart.
